“Love is not just a feeling we have; it’s a choice we make.”
In this episode, Sara Shroyer reads her article “Harmony at Home,” inviting us to consider what kind of atmosphere we are cultivating in our households. Drawing from Scripture and real-life examples, she shows that harmony at home is attainable when we choose to live the love of God in our thoughts, words, and actions. By aligning our thinking with God’s Word and communicating with grace, our homes can become places of peace, refuge, and sweet fellowship.

“Each day we have the opportunity to live differently, to put off the old and put on the new, reflecting our spiritual transformation.”
In this episode, Sharon Mortensen opens Ephesians 4:17-32 to show how our spiritual transformation—going from death to life—gives us every reason to live differently. She explains the “put off” and “put on” pattern the Word sets forth, offering practical, everyday ways to reflect the new nature God placed within us. Through clear contrasts between the old-man lifestyle and the new-man walk, Sharon helps us see what it looks like to think, speak, and act as God’s children in daily life.

“To this day, God fulfills His promise to those who honor their parents. The love, support, and care we give our father and mother will be rewarded with a long life on this earth.”
In this episode, David Schiano reads his article “Corban.” He brings to life a vivid moment from the Gospels—when Jesus Christ confronted a Pharisaic tradition that placed human tradition above God’s commandment—and helps us see how honoring our parents is a lasting way to honor God Himself.
Through careful study of Mark 7:9-13, Exodus 20:12, Ephesians 6:2,3, and I Timothy 5:4, David traces how the misuse of the vow of corban allowed sons to withhold care from their parents under a guise of religious devotion. Jesus exposed this distortion and reaffirmed God’s heart: that honoring parents is not optional or temporary but a lifelong reflection of love toward Him.

“The scriptural evidence is clear: the manifestations of holy spirit did not cease with the original apostles.”
Many Christians today wonder whether the spiritual power described in the Book of Acts is still at work in our time. In this episode, Rev. Bryan Mittler examines one of Christianity’s most enduring questions: Did the nine manifestations of the spirit end with the apostles, or are they still available to believers today? Guided by the clear record of Scripture, he shows that God never ended these manifestations. And until Christ's return, they will continue to empower every generation that believes.

“It is God’s will for us to rejoice at all times, to pray perseveringly, and, no matter what circumstances we are in, to give thanks. And we can do it!”
In Rejoice, Pray, Give Thanks: A Study of I Thessalonians 5:16-18, Liz Echternacht opens up three simple yet powerful exhortations from God’s Word. With practical examples, real-life stories, and clear Biblical teaching, Liz shows how rejoicing, persevering in prayer, and giving thanks in all circumstances can transform our thinking, steady our hearts, and brighten our daily walk with God.
Drawing from both the Gospels and the Church Epistles, this episode highlights how rejoicing in truth, praying in the spirit and with our understanding, and cultivating gratitude as a habit bring us into closer fellowship with our heavenly Father. Listeners will be encouraged to take God’s Word as their standard and experience His peace, power, and joy every day.

From David, “the sweet psalmist of Israel,” to other inspired writers such as Moses, Solomon, and Asaph, the psalms reveal universal truths about God, His Word, and our walk with Him. This episode highlights how their poetic beauty continues to instruct, encourage, and uplift believers today—just as they did centuries ago.

“David, king of Israel, was a man after God’s own heart….”
In Old Testament History: King David, Keith Echternacht traces the remarkable life of the shepherd boy who became Israel’s king. From defeating Goliath to establishing a united kingdom, David’s story reveals both his triumphs and his shortcomings—but above all, his steadfast heart toward God.
This episode highlights how David continually sought the Lord’s guidance in battle, humbled himself when confronted with sin, and rejoiced in God’s blessings through the psalms. With lessons from David’s victories, prayers, and repentance, we are encouraged to build our own close walk with God and to remain unshaken by life’s challenges.

“God’s love does something when it sees a need.”
In “Love in Action: Moving Beyond Good Intentions,” Kim Thomas explores the parable of the good Samaritan, showing how love moves beyond sentiment into action. This familiar teaching from Jesus Christ comes alive with Biblical insight and practical application, illustrating that love is more than feeling—it’s service, sacrifice, and a willingness to get involved.
Through vivid retelling, personal experiences, and everyday examples, Kim reminds us that real love often requires setting aside our own plans to meet the needs of others. Whether it’s helping a stranger, caring for a friend, or even showing kindness to an enemy, we can “go, and do…likewise” by serving unselfishly in the opportunities God places before us.
